Our Favourite Wines

Because we are always pleasure seekers as well as being ‘sporty’. We have decided to dedicate this page to tell you our little secrets. Below, you will find references to different wineries and wines that have really left an impact on us personally. This could be due to their quality price ratio, their specific characteristics, or their story. Throughout this article, we will try to give you a quick overview of our thoughts on this subject.

However, we are by no means going to say either what is good and what is not as this depends also on your personal taste. But, simply we will let you know, the different types of wine that have left an impression with us, given us pleasurable experiences and above all wines with which we have shared some good times with our friends, our customers and our family.

I like to compare wine to people. A wine is born, matures, ages, changing its mood but deep down each has its’ own unique character. We could say that it changes slightly every day. At each tasting of the same wine, we are reintroduced to the same person but in a different context.

La Côte de Nuits

La Côte Chalonnaise

La cote chalonnaise is a narrow zone that is found in the area of Saône-et-Loire, in the North and the South of the town Chalon-sur-Saône. It is one of the subdivisions of the vineyards in Burgundy. The vineyard is done in a different way to normal with the vines rather more in clusters or placed less separated from the other vines. We could say that this area is a bit of a gold mine because…..Planted majoritively in Chardonnay, you will also find the fantastic Pinot Noir wine.
